Job description

Key tasks

As an Asset Analyst at AccorInvest UK you will be responsible for providing the necessary support to the asset manager in their role of optimizing the value creation by managing the life cycle of the hotel portfolio assets (acquisition / performance / renovation / disposal…). You will provide necessary reports and ad hoc information in order to help the decision making process.
You will also be in charge of the implementation and the management of the new AccorInvest Asset management tool “Tomahawk”. As project manager you will be the main point of contact of all the stakeholders, making sure that UK needs and specificities are translated in the tool, and that all the users receive the good level of training.

To be successful in the role you will need good knowledge of general financial principles in business (P&L, analysis, cash-flow…) and be at ease with legal, financial and real-estate issues. You will have analytical skills and ability to take a global view and highly organized with the ability to effectively prioritize. High sense of discretion, confidentiality and trust is important for the role.

RESPONSABILITIES
• Support AM in managing lease compliance with Landlords in accordance with contractual obligations, including performance reviews, reporting, rent reviews, Turnover certificates, management of the service charge and other contractual obligations;
• Management of the lease payment process with the finance team;
• Review of sublease obligations process, rent reviews;
• Assist the asset managers in Preparing & managing the annual capex budget;
• Develop analytical tools & reporting to support the asset team liaising with the Accor Hotel management team (VPOM / IT) as well as other Accor Invest departments (Finance, maintenance and Construction);
• Follow up the cost of the capex works as well as the potential budget reallocations during the year;
• Produce a monthly capex reporting;
• Ensuring that all the stakeholders are involved and trained accordingly to their needs;
• Any other duties reasonably concerned with the position and business necessity;

Essential and optional requirements

- Relevant experience in a similar role
- Masters/MBA in finance/real-estate/hospitality
- Knowledge/operational experience of hospitality / hotel real-estate would be an advantage
- Languages: Fluent English is mandatory and French as a 2nd language would be a plus
