Key tasks

Key mission
Responsible for the performance and the coordination of all relevant operational issues of the properties in the UK & Ireland region, for animating and supervising the GMs and guarantying consistency with Adagio’s business model and brand standards in the concerned region. Assures cross-functional missions with the Accor and Adagio HO and the Hotels.

Scope
Management of Adagio London Brentford under direct responsibility and supervision of GMs of Adagio Birmingham, Edinburgh, Liverpool and any potential new openings.

Key responsibilities

Operations
- Manages the relevant properties and is fully aware of resources, performance, logistics, guests and teams
- Profitability: Optimizes together with the GMs the profitability by identifying cost and revenue levers in line with the business model and the guidelines of the brand.
- Monitors cost controls on a regular basis to achieve operational profitability
- Brand standards: Assures that brand standards and policies are implemented in all related properties.
- Quality & safety standards: Ensures respect of quality, health & safety standards
- Maintenance of properties: Animates the GMs to maintain the overall condition of the building and the FF&E with a preventive maintenance plan.
- Communication: Assures good communication flows by distributing all relevant information to the properties.
- Customer Service: animate the GMs to take ownership of all guest feedbacks and follow up with appropriate actions (Guest satisfaction survey, online reputation, guest letters). Proactively solicit with team all guest feedback and use it to improve our service offer.

Sales & Revenue Management
- Develops and implements strategies to maximize revenue in identifying the right target groups to optimise extended stay profitability.
- Sales development: develops sales performance by animating the GMs to identify new business and to create loyalty with existing accounts; monitors the property’s sales action plan and sales culture. Assures a link with sales team to achieve goals.
- Revenue Management: contributes with the GMs to optimize length of stay mix, average rate and occupancy in line with the central revenue management policies and in close cooperation with the revenue management team
- Benchmark: does regular benchmarks on pricing and sales practices of accommodation players and direct competitors

Management

- Ensures the motivation, cohesion and development of the property GMs.
- Motivates and develops the GMs and teams by sharing expertise and best practice
- Assures optimal communication to GMs and teams; gets staff to commit on brand projects
- Ensures team development by identifying strengths and weaknesses
- Evaluates the GMs
- Monitors that a positive social climate exists in the properties
- Being the brand ambassador in the market place by promoting the brand in the Accor place
- Assures constructive communication flows with head office functions in Paris and Accor country offices
