PMO Analyst - The Dock

The Dock is a multidisciplinary research and incubation hub, where designers, doctors, visionaries and makers are doing things that matter for people, places and robots. What you’ll be doing

You will be part of a team that guides and supports the extensive project portfolio within The Dock and delivers next generation methodology across a range of innovative projects. This role will report into the PMO lead, and help to shape and drive projects to completion.

Collaborating with our clients, designers, software engineers and business subject matter experts, we take concepts and applications on the journey from idea to reality solving real-life problems across multiple industries.

As a PMO Analyst you will;

· Track dates / activities against the PMO and Innovation project plans

· Coordinate and track the assignment of people to innovation project teams.

· Document, communicate and drive the closeout of actions

· Complete PMO reports and dashboards with high focus on attention to detail and quality

· Track project costs and financials throughout the delivery of the projects

· Drive to ensure that issues and risks are actioned and mitigated in a timely manner

· Liaise with project teams and delivery leads to collect content to showcase our projects.

· Work pro-actively and suggest improvements where gaps are identified

Requirements

Experience

·  2+ years Project Management experience
·  Strong Process/Business Change skills
·  Previous experience working in R&D/Innovation environment an advantage
·  Ability to prioritise tasks, work with schedules, manage resources while remaining focused on team goals
·  Proven delivery track record in managing/supporting IT/ Business projects and stakeholders
·  Excellent written and verbal communication skills
·  Strong relationship building and communications abilities
·  Strong Microsoft Project skills, along with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word) skills.
·  Previous experience working in large multi-national would be beneficial

Qualifications

·  PMP certified or similar qualification advantageous
·  Relevant 3rd level qualification - honours degree
