AI Research Scientist

This is a unique opportunity to play a key role on the new and growing team at Accenture Technology Labs in Dublin - a recently opened location in Labs' network of over 200 applied R&D experts at seven locations worldwide. The Dublin Labs team focuses on artificial intelligence technologies. Our passion is imagining and demonstrating the possibilities created by cutting edge AI tech. Not only will you join the energetic Dublin team and the global Labs network (with a heritage of three decades at the forefront of innovation at Accenture), but this Lab is also co-located with the over 200 designers, developers and domain experts at The Dock, Accenture's newly-created global centre for innovation - an incredible place to work.

Your role



As an AI research scientist, you will lead the key activities throughout your projects:

· Spotting the opportunities created by breakthrough AI technologies to transform business, the workforce or consumer experience;

· Working closely with teammates and industry experts to design and implement an approach that demonstrates the potential of your idea;

· Proving the real-world impact of your concepts through pilots with early adopter clients.

You are an expert in one or more areas of artificial intelligence and have technical excellence as demonstrated by your contributions. You love learning. Qualifications:


·  MSc or Phd in computer science, engineering or a related scientific field;

·  1+ years experience working in artificial intelligence (especially machine learning, natural language processing, or knowledge representation and reasoning)

·  A strong record of publications in relevant conferences and journals

·  Development skills for prototyping your concepts (e.g. in Java, C/C++, Python, etc)

·  Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
