***Please note that this role requires the individual to be on-site in Hartford, CT. The individual must reside within the Hartford or NYC region and be willing to be in Hartford every week. We do accept relocation.***

Desired profile

Qualifications :

Basic Qualifications:
·  A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in Python development
·  A minimum of 2 years of professional development with shell scripting
·  A minimum of 1 year of experience across the software development lifecycle
·  Familiarity with Git and continuous integration/ deployment strategies.
·  A minimum of 1 year of experience with Linux or equivalent Unix experience.

Travel: Up to 100% travel as project requires.

Preferred Qualifications:
·  Must be willing to work on-site in Hartford, CT. Relocation is considered.
·  Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering.
·  Working experience on tools like Kafka, Cassandra, Spark.
·  Demonstrated proficiency with SQL database technologies e.g. MySQL/MariaDB, PostgreSQL

Professional Skill Requirements:
·  An agile mindset with experience working in an Agile environment
·  Excellent collaboration and communication skills
·  High personal code/development standards
·  Self motivated with demonstrated initiative.
