The Oracle PL/SQL developer is responsible for the design, build and configuration of applications to meet business process and application requirements. The Oracle PL/SQL developer is accountable for accurate and timely status reports as well as meeting assigned work delivery dates with a high-level quality of work.

Desired profile

Qualifications :

Basic Qualifications:

·  Minimum of 3+ years of experience in PL/SQL development
· 
Strong knowledge of relational databases like Oracle, Sybase, MS SQL server.

· 
Oracle Data warehouse and DataMart development using Oracle PL/SQL and Unix.

· 
Developing PL/SQL packages, procedures, Functions, Cursors.

· 
Proficient in performance tuning of PL/SQL programs.

· 
Working in a current or previous financial services environment is highly preferred but not required.

· 
Proficient in writing Perl programming and Unix Shell scripting.

· 
Ability to work independently and excellent troubleshooting skills.

· 
Releasing/packaging code into production.

· 
Full understanding of SDLC life cycle.
