Professionals in our Corporate Functions run and manage Accenture's internal operations and all activities across our business, from finance, HR and legal to workplace management, operations and marketing and communications. Finance professionals prepare and interpret financial plans and reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable financial rules and regulations, including internal financial controls, to mitigate risk for the company. Finance professionals may also shape and execute client deals to maximize the use of Accenture's capital and resources, manage cash and/or liaise with the investor community.
Client Financial Management (CFM) acts as the CFO for our AFS portfolios, client accounts and contracts. CFM's primary activities include accurate forecasting and reporting, cash flow optimization, and GAAP, regulatory & contract compliance, including the execution of internal controls. CFM professionals are aligned to client teams and are accountable for integrating business interests of both the client teams and the AFS Finance organization. Through its activities, CFM connects all of the corporate functions to the client and project teams.

· Complete standard MTD/QTD financial and operational processes
· Assist with project level forecast management activities; typically includes gathering and inputting forecasts into TM1, evaluating forecasts against pricing and previous versions, and developing materials to articulate findings to PMO and other stakeholders
· Prepare accruals for vendor goods or services received when invoices have not yet posted in Costpoint
· Review monthly project results to ensure accurate cost postings and revenue recognition
· Support processes to record adjusting entries
· Assist with review of Open Billing Detail and understanding of working capital balances
· For CFM Operations Team: support completion of standard financial processes through centralized reporting, schedule management, internal controls guidance, and knowledge sharing
· Ensure the quality and integrity of project financial records
· Obtain pricing and FTA documents from the Pricing/CDTS team, operationalize the initial forecasts in TM1, and book sales
· Provide input to the project charge number structure, and execute workforce authorizations
· Coordinate with PMO and various corporate functions (Controllership, FP&A, SM&P, CM, etc.) to monitor funding of subcontractor purchase orders, review accuracy of prime contract modifications, track invoicing, etc.
· Assist with validation of indirect rate change impacts on project financials
· Support and execute ad hoc management requests as they relate to the forecasting process
· Execute internal controls, U.S. GAAP, contract and Federal compliance requirements to ensure full compliance and appropriate revenue recognition
· Develop awareness of key AFS policies, procedures and reference documents
· Assist with balance sheet accountability, including tracking of lease commitments and hardware/software costs
· Contribute to the CFM organization
· Participate in CFM meetings and training sessions
· Identify and participate in opportunities to continuously improve training, methodologies, tools and skills

Desired profile

Basic Qualifications:
·  Undergraduate degree (or equivalent) in finance, accounting, or other comparable business major
·  Have a minimum overall GPA of 3.0 out of 4.0 or 3.75 out of 5.0 in Bachelor's or Master's degree
·  9 credit hours of Accounting
·  US Citizenship

Preferred Skills:

·  2 months of work and/or internship experience in the area of Accounting and/or Finance
·  Professional experience performing budgeting and forecasting functions
·  Demonstrated teamwork and collaboration in a professional or educational setting
·  Good knowledge of U.S. GAAP and Sarbanes-Oxley
·  Strong Excel skills, including an understanding of Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP/SUBTOTAL functions
·  Strong communication skills
·  Experience with Deltek Costpoint, TM1, CER and Qlikview
