We're looking for a Functional Business Support Analyst to be business architects of AFS financial systems. This team provides consultative functional expertise at the intersection of Finance and IT. Operationally, the FBS Analyst works to ensure that AFS people, processes, procedures, and technology remain Fit for Federal. You will lead in the “New” by identifying opportunities to leverage disruptive technologies, improving enterprise automation and efficiency.

Other Responsibilities Include:

· Ensure the people, process and technology solution remains Fit for Federal
· Support Cross Functional Reporting Initiatives and priorities
· Execute monthly close processes supporting AFS Finance Internal Controls
· Reconciling reporting data integrity across various finance business systems
· Implement Reporting development, enhancements, and defect resolution with IT counterparts using Agile Methodology
· Development of test plans, testing of enhancements, defect fixes, and system upgrades to ensure functional integrity of product releases
· Customer service, driving resolution of escalated defects/incidents and Root Cause Analysis
· Contribute to business involvement and ensure functional integrity for all releases
· Drive resolution of escalated defects and Root Cause Analysis
· Provide content knowledge for cross-business functional training

Qualifications :

Basic Qualifications:

·  Must be a US Citizen
·  Bachelor's degree (Accounting or Finance preferred)
·  Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUPS, Pivot Tables, SUMIFs, Data Analysis)
·  Proficient in MS Office software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
·  6 months of exposure to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
·  Excellent analytical, organizational and multi-tasking skills
Preferred Qualifications:
·  1 year of exposure in one or more of the following process areas: Record to Report, Sales to Cash, Requisition to Pay, Forecasting, Budgeting & Pricing, and Time and Expense
·  Exposure to Agile Methodology
·  6 months of exposure to Government Cost Accounting Standards (CAS), and Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR)
·  Ability to lead small defined initiative, effort, processes, etc.
·  Excellent oral and written communication skills
·  Good time management and organizational skills
·  Experience with Deltek Costpoint, TM1, CER and/or QlikView
·  Proven ability to work creatively, analytically and independently in a problem-solving environment
·  Proven success in contributing to a team-oriented environment
·  Strong attention to detail
·  Strong interpersonal skills An active security clearance or the ability to obtain one may be required for this role.
