The Data Integration Engineer is responsible for the integration new capabilities and managing the integration of existing capabilities for federal agencies in support of the CDM project or customer requirements. The Data Integration Engineer will work closely with architects, engineers, and integrators to assess customer requirements and to design and support data integration from various toolsets to the integration layer and the CDM Agency and Federal Dashboards to ensure compliance with dashboard data requirements. Additionally, you will serve as a trusted advisor, providing subject matter expertise, guidance, and best practice recommendations.

Qualifications :

Basic Skills & Qualifications:


·  4+ years of IT enterprise experience, Java development, JSON, XML,XSLT and database languages such as SQL and Oracle, web services development such as REST and SOAP
·  3+ years of Data Integration experience
·  Strong understanding of Security tools, such as McAfee and Tenable as well as enterprise service bus technology Preferred Skills & Qualifications:

·  Strong knowledge of development tools, configuration management tools, existing development standards, frameworks, models, and methods for developing and implementing security integrated solution
·  BS in Computer Science or related field required
·  Experience with Spring Framework Service Experience with Apache Camel performing data integration
·  Experience with Junit, WireMock
·  Experience with Java Swing
·  Overall strong background in systems engineering, security engineering, architecting, enterprise integration, and interoperability in a complex systems environment
·  Knowledge of emerging cybersecurity technologies
·  Experience modeling data, message, and service interoperability
·  Understanding of technical, operational, and management issues related to design, development, and deployment of complex and distributed systems
·  Understanding of interrelationships between critical infrastructure protection and cybersecurity
·  Familiarity with DHS Cybersecurity programs such as Continuous Diagnostics and Mitigation (CDM)
·  Knowledge and experience with Assessment & Authorization (A&A) processes
·  Spring Framework Service, Junit, WireMock, Java Swing, Assessment & Authorization (A&A) processes

An active security clearance or the ability to obtain one may be required for this role.
