An Enterprise Cloud Architect owns the technical and functional architecture for Cloud cross domain initiatives and works across domains to ensure cohesive technical and functional solution. He reviews and identifies the gaps in the architecture and designs, assesses and defines remediation efforts or mitigation options. He brings in technical domain SMEs as required: Security, MAAG Cloud Platform, Data, Network architects etc …He maintains design deliverables that include architecture diagrams, cloud native architecture patterns, data models, and API / micro-service architecture. He enforces design process standards on assigned initiatives. He builds the enterprise architecture aligned with the client cloud strategy and understands the strength of the MAAG platforms in the context of the client

Major Duties / Responsibilities:

· Develop and effectively communicate system level diagrams (context, logical, physical, deployment)
· Define, design and deliver cloud architecture for enterprise applications hosted or built natively on the cloud and integrate with legacy/on-premises systems.
· Collaborate with the application, data, and infrastructure architects on defining, designing and delivering cloud specific technical architectures and design patterns
· Create the conceptual, logical and physical design for cloud-based solutions for infrastructure and platforms
· Analyze the current business and IT environment to detect critical deficiencies and recommends solutions for improvement
· Decompose monolith applications into meaningful implementable Microservices and APIs in a Cloud/DevOps environment using domain driven design and architecture principles of security, scale, uptime and reliability
· Provide industry leading technical direction and guidance to various project teams to ensure appropriate and cost-effective application of approved technologies.
· Introduce and accelerate adoption of new technologies and methodologies to support technology transformation initiatives
· Ensure appropriate and effective data integration across multiple applications.

Desired profile

Qualifications :

Required Qualifications:

·  Bachelor's degree (Computer Science or Engineering)
·  At least 12 years' experience in information technology developing and architecting highly available, complex, distributed, component-based, service-oriented, event-driven architecture solutions for an enterprise
·  Experienced in designing, analyzing and troubleshooting large-scale distributed systems in cloud, non-cloud as well as hybrid environments

· Familiarity with Agile methodologies, DevOps, Cloud services (AWS, Azure), APIs, Microservices and TOGAF are expected.

· Understanding of industry requirements would be a plus.

· exposure to business modelling and strategy

· Proficiency in C# or Java, and one or more JavaScript frameworks

· Strong understanding of object-oriented programming using SOLID design principles, design patterns, and secure coding principles

· Experience with issue tracking systems (Jira) and git-based source control systems Strong communication skills

· Experience with high availability technologies that include virtualization, cloud computing, load balancing, clustering, massively horizontally scalable architectures, hosted services, multi-tenant cloud infrastructures, storage systems and content delivery networks.

·  Systematic problem-solving approach, coupled with effective communication skills, organizational and interpersonal skills and a sense of ownership and drive. Ability to identify and drive to resolution issues and risks.
·  Expected to have a strong working knowledge of general architectural patterns, technologies and architecture management processes.
·  Experience with failure mode and effects analysis
·  Experience with security architectures and designs
