As a Digital Architect and Full Stack Developer, you will be responsible for the detailed design and implementation of complex, scalable and robust solutions. Whether it's a high scale ecommerce application, a brand-new personalisation framework or a market leading bespoke application, you will provide our clients with the technology expertise and leadership to make their business ambitions a digital reality.

We are building a broad community of Digital Architects capable of delivering the most complex digital technology solutions. This community is equally comfortable explaining complex architectures for the C-Suite and the media, as well as collaborating with on- and off-shore development and test teams.

Typical Responsibilities

Here's a snapshot of typical responsibilities for this role:

·  Leading and contributing directly to the end-to-end design, build and test of performant, secure, robust and maintainable technical solutions across disparate technologies;
·  Analysing and resolving architectural problems throughout the lifecycle of the solution working closely with the development and operations teams;
·  Be an expert in digital technologies by clients and colleagues, constantly learning to stay ahead;
·  Capturing learnings and insights from projects to support training and development across the wider architecture community to develop the Architecture practice.

Key Skills & Experience

We are looking for people who live and breathe technology they are implementing. They are not afraid of spinning up some new software or framework onto the cloud and can quickly integrate the various components needed to solve a specific business problem. They have engineering architecture skills and can challenge conventional wisdom but can also coach software and test engineers on the minutiae of back-end and front-end code, continuous integration practices and behavioural driven development processes. They need to have real development experience, can explain detailed technical concepts to every level of the business, whether as part of a product development methodology, as a delivery lead or to justify technology decision-making to key stakeholders and programme sponsors.

·  You should be able to develop high quality code using a wide variety of modern internet technologies;
·  You should have cloud and devOps skills (without necessarily being a full-blown sys-admin);
·  You should be an architect, but not stuck just to producing PowerPoint and Visio diagrams;
·  You should also be able to work as a delivery / development lead - but not wholly tied to MS Project or Jira - and be Agile through and through;
·  You should know how to test, but not using some manually test script heavy tool, you should rather be addicted to automation and BDD/TDD.
