Role Summary

Business Analyst

The Business Intelligence analyst will join a small dynamic team supporting the business by rapidly delivering BI solutions in the form of ad hoc analysis, static reporting and dashboards.

The role will also involve participating in Agile BI project teams to deliver BI infrastructure and applications to meet evolving business needs.

Role and Responsibilities

- Analyze and understand core Apple business processes and data flows in order to design and develop BI solutions that provide valued analytical insights
- Create quick-win reports and data analysis using available GBI toolset.
- Work closely with business partners to understand and help refine their requirements.
- Work on agile BI projects collaborating with the business to gather requirements and rapidly creating prototypes to help refine and clarify business needs
- Perform statistical analysis to map and identify genuine trends and relationships
- Where required be the liaison between the business units, technology teams and support teams.
- Successfully engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously

Desired profile

Skills & Experience

- Experience across business intelligence spectrum: requirements gathering, Data Warehousing, BI tools, analytics
- Experience of Agile BI environment
- Strong SQL (Teradata) with experience querying large, complex data sets;
- Knowledge of data modeling and data warehousing processes and concepts.
- Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau preferred)
- Experience of BI Reporting Tools (Business Objects & Corda preferred)
- Experience of Data Mining / Analytics Tools (SAS, SPSS, R, RapidMiner)
- Experience developing and delivering reporting and analysis in a demanding business environment
- Sound commercial acumen
- Strong Business Analysis
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to effectively communicate and present data and information
