JOB DESCRIPTION:

In Olst Netherlands we have a fantastic job available. As our Teamleader Validation Support you will safeguarding pharmaceutical manufacturing (quality) standards with regard to validation and calibration. You will ensure that the production departments have validated utilities at their disposal, like air treatment systems, cooling systems, distribution of deionized water and gases, autoclaves and sterilizers for the production of pharmaceutical products under aseptic conditions and in accordance with the quality standards and GMP requirements. Sounds great right?

What will the Purpose be?

As our Teamleader Validation Support you will contribute to the implementation of the validation policy at our site in Olst. You will do that in such a way that at any time it can be demonstrated that processes, installations and utilities reproducibly meet the specifications of Abbott or customers and the European and US regulations. And that's not it! The purpose will also be the formulation of validation strategies for our site in such a way that it can be demonstrated that processes, installations and utilities reproducibly meet the specifications of Abbott or customers and the European and US regulations. Additional you will formulate and managing the implementation of the validation and calibration policy at the site, in such a way that at any time it can be demonstrated that processes, installations and utilities reproducibly meet the specifications of Abbott or customers and the European and US regulatory authorities

What will your Tasks and Responsibilities be?

In this role we ask a lot of responsibilities. But as our Teamleader Validation Support you know that these responsibilities are a part of this job. It won't hold you down to accomplish to the results we want to reach. You will participate in meetings with the production department to establish and implement performance improvement programs. And you will continuously improve methods, procedures, equipment and techniques of the own department within your own competences or make proposals for improvements. Besides that you will contribute to the development of new techniques and methods for routine, non-routine and project work.

And that's not it. You will responsible forpromote innovation and continuous improvement within own department and will discuss possible improvements within own department with internal customers. Another responsibility is to implement product or process improvements in cooperation with production.

is there more? Yes! Managing your own tasks:

• Collect, analyze and report on all information about the department's performance.
• Direct and lead the department (including settling budgets, quality standards and HSE regulations, maintenance of laboratory facilities and instruments).
• Assist with development of annual operational and investment budgets. .
• Define, propose and implement goals, policy, procedures and successes of the department
• Report to management on achieved results and developments within the department

And there will be managing the team:

• Manage, monitor and coordinate the activities and tasks of the team.
• Take part in selection, rotation and promotion of own team members.
• Review in alignment with Abbott systems, the development of direct reports on regular base

What will you bring?

Knowledge! That is really important. Knowledge about the pharmaceutical production processes and lean techniques. Beside that we would like to see 3 till 5 years experience with validation and calibration techniques. Anything else? Yes;

• Higher technical vocational education.
• Knowledge of relevant internal and external Regulations
• Experience with projects.
• 1-2 year management experience
• Fluent in Dutch and English
