Abbott Ireland Diabetes Care Division Donegal
The Abbott Diabetes Care division based in Donegal Town manufactures FreeStyle blood glucose test strips and FreeStyle Sensors for use in diabetes management. Among Abbott Diabetes Care leading brands are the FreeStyle Precision, FreeStyle Lite and FreeStyle Libre system.
PURPOSE OF THE JOB
Support Software Validation activities across the Libre process, primarily focusing on Electronic batch Record updates and Qualifications.
Assessments for the Operation department ensuring the site delivers safe and effective products that meet customer needs whilst maintaining compliance.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
· Software related updates on the POMs Electronic Batch record System .
· Generate and execute validation protocols and associated reports for Software related Validation Activities.
· Identification of opportunities and Improvements on current live EBR Recipes.
· Reduce POMs related Exceptions and QR by updating relevant EBR.
· Assist in providing Technical information for Non-Conformance reports relating to Software / POMs issues.
· Ensure adherence to 6S in the Operation areas ensuring the department conducts its business in a manner designed to be productive and protective of human health, safety and the environment.
· Responsible for compliance with applicable Corporate and Divisional Policies and performing other duties as assigned by management.
EDUCATION & COMPETENCIES
· Third Level Qualification in Science or Engineering.
· Two years relevant experience preferred
