Primary Function :
The Operations Engineer is chiefly responsible for carrying out direct operational engineering activity in third party manufacturing facility’s thereby ensuring the site(s) delivers safe and effective products that meet customer needs whilst maintaining compliance.
Major Responsibilities:
· Lean six sigma experience.
· OpEx experience
· Can lead a team in Root Cause Analysis using established methods and drives through to resolution and is creative in identifying corrective, preventive actions.
· Writing / providing input for operating procedures.
· Familiar to use and navigate through a quality management system.
· Computer data inputting
· Can influence decision makers and can work within the Abbott TPM team to build relationships with the TPM Engineering and Operation Teams
· Be accountable and delivers on commitments.
· Takes responsibility for issues with a sense of urgency and will lead resolution and communication to business leaders. Will communicate Lessons Learned
· Responsible for proactive maintenance program to deliver reliability and improvements to processes.
· Be capable of creating / analysing reports and communicate out
· Ad hoc tasks
Education and Years Experience:
· Degree in Technical Discipline, life science, Operations / Engineering or a closely related discipline OR relevant combination of education or experience
· Track record of delivery of Continuous Improvement initiatives
