JOB DESCRIPTION:

IT Compliance Auditor description:

  • Systematically evaluate and improve the BTS Quality System through a disciplined approach of performing internal audits and analysis of quality IT systems and operational areas.
  • Ensure BTS IT Quality systems are developed and maintained in accordance with global Abbott Policies and Standards and/or local regulatory requirements
  • Monitor the performance of Corrective and Preventative Action processes that address findings identified during the audit
  • Collects and analyzes data related to the tracking and trending of audit related topics
  • Demonstrate strong verbal and written skills
  • Participate in cross-divisional teams to represent BTS IT Audit
  • Work with inspection support team to manage direct audits of BTS: roles include but are not limited to:
    • working directly with the auditors
    • acting as liaison between the auditor and respective organizations within BTS
    • coordinating back room audit activities as necessary.

Responsibilities include:

  • Developing risk-based audit plans to properly evaluate the audit objectives and scope
  • Develop and manage audit schedule
  • Conduct and manage audits against applicable quality regulations and standards, internal
  • quality management system requirements
  • Provide communication and status to management during the course of audits
  • Develop and issue audit reports in a timely manner
  • Maintain tracking of findings and action items
  • Monitor action items and notify responsible parties of deadlines
  • Collect necessary data to report metrics as defined by management
  • Remain current on policy and standards that govern the BTS Quality System

The position is accountable to the Sr Mgr IT Quality & Compliance

The position requires Bachelor's degree or High School diploma with equivalent IT and /or compliance experience. Preferred audit certifications CQA, CSQE, CSTE
