JOB DESCRIPTION:

Position Summary

This position is responsible for authoring and processing change requests for new documents and revisions to existing documents. The incumbent ensures that any changes made to existing documents are appropriate, justified, and as with new documents, are approved by the required functional areas according to established procedures. Additional responsibilities may include coordination of documentation with project teams, plus successful completion of assigned projects.

Main Responsibilities

  • Edits and processes documents such as OP, Forms, Training Material, etc.
  • Reviews documents for consistency with similar or related documents.
  • Works with others at multiple sites globally to coordinate change packages.
  • Must be able to rearrange priorities on short notice to react to (internal) customer needs and/or provide internal and external audit support globally.
  • Documentation for new processes or revisions to existing processes must be completed accurately and on time.
  • Quality of the product is directly linked to the accuracy of the associated documentation.
  • Not meeting the scheduling requirements may result in delays to new product introduction, quality enhancements, corrective and preventive actions, cost reductions, etc.
  • Must have the ability to problem solve, manage projects, influence internal and external groups, and provide leadership to project teams for documentation requirements.
  • The incumbent should have strong organizational, communication, and human relations skills to deal with functional areas within the division.

Minimum Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree Science, English, Business or related field or 4 years' experience in document management in a regulated area.
  • Requires a minimum of one to two years' experience in a technical/quality or operational area.
  • Knowledge of MS Word, Excel and Visio is desirable.
