JOB DESCRIPTION:

For our European Distribution Center (EDC), we are recruiting an Administrative Assistant for Capital Equipment.

The Administrative Assistant is responsible for back office support for the Capital Equipment EDC Service Center Team. This team is responsible for calibration, upgrading, repair and preventive maintenance of all capital equipment part of ABBOTT product portfolio in compliance with ABBOTT Business Code of conduct, regulatory and Quality policies and procedures.

Your Role and Responsibilities:

  • Supporting in the daily administrative work of the EDC Service Center
  • Assisting in the follow-up of incoming and outgoing goods.
  • Assisting in spare parts management (receiving, stock, re-shipment of defective spare parts to vendors or product divisions.
  • Assisting in SAP transaction of \"Spare Parts\" and \"Medical Equipment\"
  • Assisting in monitoring and updating the \" Calibration schedules\" (Data Base)
  • Assisting in documenting and archiving service documents following the procedures.
  • Assisting in the follow-up of loaner devices.
  • Assisting in updating SAP/IBASE for the activities (software upgrades)
  • Providing support for in-house training courses and congresses.
  • Providing support for demo or field equipment support and monitoring.

Your Profile:

  • High school degree or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in service administration and knowledge of warehouse execution.
  • Quality/SOP oriented
  • Customer service minded
  • Good administrative and communication skills, verbal and written.
  • English is a must, Dutch and/or French are a plus.
  • Computer literate: MSOffice, SAP, Outlook ...
  • Accuracy, structured
  • Requires occasional lifting of products and material related to handling in the Service Center.
  • Able to communicate with different business partners: customer service, inventory, warehouse, etc.
  • Able to work independently in a fast environment with little supervision.
  • Able to be flexible and respond to situations at short notice.
