JOB DESCRIPTION:

Reporting to Sales Manager Area Nord, We are looking for an Ambassador with focus on Emilia Romagna to join in our Diagnostic Team in Italy.

1.   Primary Objective of Position

The Abbott (non-technical) Ambassador is responsible for managing and expanding existing accounts, managing and improving customer relationships, improving profitability of accounts.

2.   Major Accountabilities

·  Full revenue responsibility including forecasting and target performance achievement
·  Act as a trusted partner and advisor as Abbott’s main contact to customers
·  Manage and drive the development of their accounts, including key activities such as: strategic account management and post-sales implementation process
·  New product and menu expansion targeting and sales support
·  Prepare and execute regular customer business reviews
·  Manage routine renewals of base business accounts and negotiate long-term contracts
·  Implement new assays
·  Provide ongoing training and coaching to customers as requested
·  Oversee progress of cross-functional implementation team (post-sale) with project manager
·  Success in this role is measured by economic profitability, customer satisfaction score (NPS), contract renewal rate and managed revenue.

3.   Education

·  Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required. Bachelor’s / Engineering degree in bio medical / electrical / mechanical / medical technology / biologie/ pharmacy or commercial is preferred
·  Candidates must be fluent both in English and Italian, additional languages are advantageous

4.   Background

·  1 year previous work experience in Medical Device - Diagnostic field is required
·  Proven track record in a similar position supported by management and customer references
·  Successful engagement with customers, specifically Business Management and key stakeholders.
·  Excellent product and industry knowledge
·  Strong understanding of key stakeholders and customer dynamics
·  Strong solution selling and relationship building skills
·  Excellent communication skills
·  Ability to identify and drive resolution of issues
·  Long-term, strategic focus on account
·  ,The position requires the willingness to travel on a frequent basis, i.e. on average three days per week.

5. Geograph y : focus on Emilia Romagna with preferred residence in that Region or willing to relocate in this region.
