Job description

Tasks:
• Lead, communicate and direct IC associates through daily activities focusing on maintaining and controlling inventory accuracy.
• Manage scrap and obsolete process including, items documentation forms-tracking and adjustments.
• Perform daily detailed analysis of item performance.
• Capture daily performance activity determining effective methods to increase performance.
• Assist auditors with process/procedures as it relates to inventory.
• High level communication with internal/external customers to reconcile inventory discrepancies
• Attend and assist with “Start-Up” meeting to share information, discuss daily plans, and staffing needs
• Provide feedback and input to manager regarding associate's performance and attendance.
• Other duties as deemed necessary or assigned.

Requirements:

Minimum Position Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years experience in automated distribution environment.
• Prior experience as supervisor/Team Leader a plus.
• Working knowledge of TOPS/MARC warehouse systems.
• Knowledge of basic computer skills and good understanding of overall distribution operations.
• Must be able to handle confidential and sensitive information/situations in a professional manner.
• Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds repetitively and frequently, required to stand/walk/for extended periods of time throughout shift.
• Strong leadership skills with excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Must be able to manage multiple tasks and priorities and easily adapt to changing situations.
• Detailed and team oriented.
• Flexible to work different shift if necessary and overtime with little or no notice.

Education:

Associates degree in business or related field a plus

Work Experience:

2- years supervisor/Team Lead experience in manufacturing/distribution environment
