Job description

Tasks:
Oversees the management of assigned projects the quality, the budgetary, and the customer satisfaction of services performed.

Generates a project plan for each project documenting the technical, the operational, and the political aspects of a project from start to completion.

Generates a schedule to meet the target timeline of the customer's schedule and communicates the schedule to the customer and to the internal service delivery team.

Coordinates the delivery and the inspection of ABB equipment at customer facilities.

Coordinates the startup, the commissioning and the site acceptance testing of respective ABB equipment.

Reviews and coordinates the flow of information among various groups and customers, and implement measures to resolve problems, ensures meeting of schedule commitments, and achieves customer satisfaction.

Tracks and communicates the progress of the project scope and the budget for all assigned projects - Provides weekly updates to ABB management and to the customer.

Organizes escalation and customer meetings, and any customer site visits pertaining to assigned projects.

Provides guidance to ABB field engineers and customers on installation, testing and operation of ABB products.

Ensures all punch list items generated from the startup/commissioning are communicated and resolved in a timely manner.

Assists with resolving disputes involving back charges, escalations, and delays related to an assigned project.

Conveys complex technical information in understandable terms to customers.

Trains customers on the operation and the maintenance of ABB products.

Orders and returns of rental test equipment in support of site tests (as needed).

Desired profile

Requirements:

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
3 - 5 years of demonstrated Project Management experience
3 - 5 years' experience working in an engineering based solutions company

Preferred Qualifications:

Certification in Project Management
Experience with ABB (Formerly Cyberex) power protection related equipment.
Ability to manage multiple projects
Strong skills in ERP systems as well as MS Office products
