Tasks:
ABB is seeking a Marketing Intern to be part of the Power Grids FACTS US business. As part of the FACTS US Marketing and Sales team, this role is focused on supporting strategic analysis and long-term development of the market and customer relationships for Flexible AC Transmission Systems (FACTS) in the US. This role will involve working closely with the Business Development in Raleigh and the ABB FACTS global business located in Sweden.

Typical duties/responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, the following:
• Provide support to Marketing team that relates to conducting customer analysis and segmentation research to recommend new product features, market price strategy, customer requirements, quality and other factors involving ABB FACTS products and services.
• Support the analysis of overall market size and market share for ABB FACTS in all market segments.
• Provide support for support market outreach programs.
• Support analysis of the FACTS service market segment.
• Interact and engage with technical experts to support the development of sales presentations/arguments to leverage ABB value.
• Support and maintain informative reporting through use of ABB tools.

Basic qualifications:
• Currently seeking a degree at an accredited U.S. based institution

Preferred qualifications:
• Currently enrolled in an Engineering, Marketing or Business Bachelor's degree program
• Experience with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
• Experience with data analysis in Excel creating and using pivot tables.
• Proven development and maintenance of positive, cooperative, team-oriented relationships with co-workers, supervisors, managers, clients and others in contact with the job.
• Strong communication skills to influence.
