Internship - GTS Mechanical Engineer support

Our Robotics and Motion Division is looking for a candidate for a Global Technical Support Mechanical Engineer. You will work in the BU Motors and Generators located in Vittuone (MI). In this role you will be part of Global technical support within our R&D dept, focused on creation of technical solutions for customer needs, efficiently, cost-effectively, and in accordance with quality standards.

Tasks:

You will be inserted within our GTS team that is part of our R&D department. As part of mechanical team your typical tasks will include:
• support the preparation of technical solutions in collaboration with of Global Sales Support and Local Sales Units
• optimization and feasibility check of mechanical solutions in order to fulfill customer specific requirements
• the activity foreseens the use of specific ABB internal tools in addition to the most commonly used mechanical software.

Requirements:

You hold a Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering. You have a knowledge of AutoCAD, Office and general dimensioning criteria for mechanical and structural components. Good knowledge of Italian and English is required. We are looking for a proactive person with good communication skills and teamwork orientation.
