Primary Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

·  Collaborate with cross functional teams such as Global Market Access, Marketing, Sales and Clinical teams to develop compelling health economic value propositions and publication plans
·  Implement Health Economic plans for marketed products to deliver economic value positioning globally
·  Identify, design economic models to assess health economic impact of 3M technologies to health systems globally
·  Provide guidance to clinical research teams on health economic data collection requirements to support product value
·  Be visible in the organization and provide training to the internal organization on health economic concepts
·  Draft, edit, and deliver results and findings relevant to internal and external stakeholders e.g., abstracts, posters, manuscripts, value dossiers, proposals, and presentations
·  Participate in professional organizations, trade associations, and other key third parties to advocate health economic topics relevant to our business

Basic Qualifications:

·  Possess a Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution
·  Minimum two (2) years  combined experience in one or more of the following: Medical Device, Pharmaceutical, Managed Care, Health Care and/or Health Research in a private, public, government or military environment

Preferred Qualifications:

·  Master’s degree or higher in Health Economics, MBA, MPH, Life Sciences, Statistics or related discipline from an accredited institution
·  Minimum five (5) years  combined experience in one or more of the following: Medical Device, Pharmaceutical, Managed Care, Health Care and/or Health Research in a private, public, government or military environment
·  Experience working with healthcare stakeholders (payers, hospitals), trade associations, professional and medical organizations and ability to develop mutually beneficial health economics initiatives
·  In-depth understanding of and experience in Health Technology Assessment preferred
·  Knowledge of statistical software (e.g. SAS® etc.) for modeling and performing analyses
·  Demonstrated ability to work effectively on/lead global cross-functional teams
·  Ability to influence at all levels
·  Excellent communications skills (oral, written and presentation)

Location: Maplewood, MN

Travel: May include up to 10% domestic/international
