Job Summary :

Safely and efficiently conduct compounding processing work with supervision. Follow all safety procedures without compromise. Follow written operating procedures and work cooperatively with technical personnel to attain positive results. Record all processing data completely and accurately. Provide process improvement ideas.   Follow the Hebron Training program and perform all tasks safely and proficiently.

Primary Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

·  Acquiring an understanding of plastics processing, able to assist in equipment setups and maintain equipment operation. Able to follow instructions to implement changes in process conditions or equipment settings as needed to influence product properties   
·  Ability to learn and practice a basic comprehension of standard processing in a manufacturing environment
·  Ability to comprehend and be trained to operate PIVs, Hand tools, and other industrial equipment
·  Able to respond as directed to change process conditions and equipment settings to minimize production of non-conforming product and loss of material
·  Accountable to prevent damage to thermoplastic processing and feed system equipment
·  Able to use basic math skills to insure process conditions are maintained to obtain the desired product quality characteristics
·  Work at a fast-machine-driven pace, able to respond quickly to rapidly changing process conditions
·  Ability to learn and practice Lean Values

This position may require:

·  Weekend work
·  Working overtime and short notice shift coverage
·  Working on holidays as needed
·  Working rotating 8, 10, or 12-hour shifts depending onbusiness needs
·  Extended exposure to oil, dust, fumes, and noise. Some exposure to heat or cold.
·  Exposure to conditions that could cause thermal burns from molten material during the operation of equipment.
·  Frequent exposure to hazardous powders and dust. May handle Hazardous waste.
·  Frequent physical demands, including:
·  Liftingupto 30 lbs.
·  Frequent standing/sitting/squatting
·  Wearing a respirator while performing physical work

Basic Qualifications:  

·  Possess a High School Diploma/GED or higher
·  Minimum three (3) years of industrial factory experience in a private, public, government, or military environment

Preferred Qualifications:

·  Experience working with extrusion and custom compounding of resin and powders
·  Experience working with lean manufacturing to include 5S Principles
·  Mechanical abilities and use of general tools
