Job Summary :

The Electronics and Energy Business Group is hiring an experienced supply chain analyst to join the Intercompany team.   The analyst will be responsible for providing proactive service management and operational duties for the department and their assigned region.  The analyst will have frequent interaction with division supply chain and manufacturing contacts, source of supply contacts, distribution operations personnel, corporate staff groups, and carrier partners.        

This position provides an opportunity to transition from other private, public, government or military environments to a 3M career.

Primary Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

·  Lead projects associated with BT Deployment and EEBG’s Service Improvement Initiative
·  Assist in the identification and deployment of improvement processes resulting in a higher level of service delivered to our subsidiaries while balancing the team’s productivity expectations
·  Serve as a coach to other intercompany team members to train and implement standard work and improvement processes
·  Monitor service performance metrics for the department and in depth data analysis and reconciliation of additional reports as assigned        
·  Handle routine inquiries addressing order status, expedite requests, and complaints.  
·  Other responsibilities as needed

Basic Qualifications:

·  Possess a Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution
·  Minimum of three (3) combined years of experience in Customer Service, Supply Chain, and/or Logistics in a private, public, government or military environment

Preferred Qualifications:

·  Intercompany/International experience
·  Very proficient using MS Office suite  
·  Process oriented mindset with analytical skills and creative problem solving capabilities
·  Strong communication and persuasion skills to sell ideas to business partners
·  Team player who shares knowledge through the training of co-workers
·  Troubleshooting and multi-tasking skills
·  Ability to travel as required

Travel: May include up to 10% [domestic/international]
