Our vehicles & Tactical Systems domain develops specialised protected mobility vehicles and related products to support our customers' unique requirements. Our Manufacturing, engineering and design operations are based in Bendigo with a major Support facility in Brisbane. Our products include the Bushmaster, the recently developed Hawkei, survivability enhancement kits, engineering support services and general maintenance services. With an unrivalled passion for what we do, our Support operations are pivotal to the ongoing success of both our Bushmaster and Hawkei platforms.

The role

Working in our Bendigo facility which is the hub for the design and assembly of our protected vehicles, you would be responsible for assembling components for our protected vehicles, specifically Hawkei, although you may be required to assist in the assembly of our Bushmaster protected vehicle whenever needed.

Key Responsibilities

· Assembling various vehicle components in a manufacturing setting
· Follow detailed assembly instructions to ensure accuracy and consistency of vehicles
· Manual handling tasks
· Ensure you follow safe work practices
· Teamwork
Skills and experience

· A high mechanical aptitude
· Experience in vehicle assembly (advantageous)
· Related trade backgrounds considered (not essential)
· High energy, can-do attitude, with the flexibility to tackle any task required
· Attention to detail
· Have an OHS mindset
· Knowledge of LEAN principals (advantageous)
