The Role

As an Android Software Engineer working on the Supply Chain Automation team, you’ll apply software engineering skills to develop continuous integration infrastructure, web apps, micro services, and control systems which power the most advanced and automated manufacturing system in the world.

Responsibilities:

·  Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform
·  Manage full technical life-cycle of Android applications during each development phase
·  Work from UI/UX requirements, API’s, mockups to build functional, high performance app
·  New feature development, testing, maintenance of existing features and bug fixes
·  Document & maintain design specifications, source code

Desired profile

Requirements:

·  Experience in Java
·  Knowledge of Android SDK, frameworks
·  Experience with low level Android systems & drivers
·  Experience with threading & memory management & performance tuning
·  Experience with Android Studio & gradle build system
·  Working knowledge of web services (websocket) & REST APIs
·  Familiarity with Git
