Your environment
At Societe Generale, you will be joining the Information Technology division of Global Banking & Investors Solutions (GBIS), one of the three pillars of SG that brings together Corporate and Investment Banking activities, Private Banking activities, Asset Management and Investor Services.Every day our teams are ensuring that we deliver the service our businesses need to compete and serve Societe Generale's clients. Our objective is to deliver great production services in a well controlled and cost effective way, and to deliver competitive application systems that allow GBIS to grow its business in existing and new markets, launch new products and take advantage of new opportunities when they arise.

The applicant will join a business-process orientated Information Technology team based in Singapore for the support and development of applications used by the financing and trust activities in Asia Pacific.
·  Team of 4 (incl. candidate) responsible for the IT applications of Global Financing, Trust and strategic client activities in Asia Pacific
·  Dynamic range of regular activities including projects, application development, support & innovation-related topics
·  Multi-tasking
·  Interaction with all levels of hierarchy (business & technical teams) globally

Mission

Your role
During your VIE mission you will be in charge of these responsibilities:

Support

·  Functional and technical support for Trade Finance (back, middle & front office users)
·  Application management for Trust & strategic clients
·  Problem management (detect, assess, resolve), escalation with standard procedures and tools
·  A high level of compliance to procedures is expected
·  Training on functions & procedures during onboarding
Projects

·  Analyse, document and / or coordinate projects
·  Represent Asia specific perspectives in global discussions
·  Working on Singapore public holidays may be required

The VIE assignment in a nutshell
This VIE in Singapore is to begin as soon as possible but you need to plan 3 months between your application date and the beginning of your VIE assignment. It will last 24 months.

Your profile
You are graduated with a Master degree from Engineering or Business School or University ideally in Finance or IT.
Excellent command of MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) MS SQL
Fluent in English
