Job description

We are recruiting for a Production Operator to join our healthcare diagnostics team. The role is based at our well-established and modern manufacturing and distribution facility based at Llanberis, Wales. The facility, based in the Snowdonia National Park, manufactures and distributes reagents used in hospitals worldwide to aid the diagnosis of medical conditions. What are my responsibilities?

· Set up basic manufacturing equipment
· Follow defined written procedures& complete process documentation
· Operate to defined standards of security, housekeeping & GMP, and report non-compliances to the supervisor
· Perform daily checks & measurements to ensure work conforms to specifications & report non-compliant results to the supervisor.
· Ensure specific cleaning, maintenance & quality systems activities are completed to schedule & documented in a timely manner
· Use all company equipment supplied in a safe & efficient manner & keep the equipment in good order at all times
· Play an effective role in any projects in which you are involves & perform other duties consistent with your position as may be required by the company.
· To effectively participate in Quality Improvement projects with the aim of collectively or individually achieving measurable improvements in performance.

What do I need to qualify for the role?

· Proven experience of working in a GMP environment
· Evidence of LEAN experience
· Experience of a manufacturing environment
· Good time management
· Experience of communication across various levels
· Ability to perform calculations / measurements and meet deadlines
· Ability to follow verbal instructions and defined written proceduresand complete documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
· Possess basic PC skills
