EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

Within the Centre of Expertise (CoE) our job is to help our customers run better and support End-to-End SAP implementations. As a CoE employee you will have the opportunity to apply and improve experience in any of the the following areas:

Database & Platform

·  Diagnose databases for performance and stability and provide recommendations to optimize.
·  Empower customers with industry best practice for operations
·  Contribute to team of leading experts to be the one-stop-shop for SAP customers wishing to learn the latest HANA in-memory database and platform technologies

Development & Programming

·  Development activities for SAP core products.
·  Application of extensive programming skills in real customer implementation or engineering projects to develop innovative solutions or customer enhancements to meet business requirements or to improve overall business process performance
·  Applying software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum, etc.) during internal and external projects

Application

·  Analysis of business requirements and gaps in customer solutions
·  Design of specific software requirements within your application area
·  Customer solution scoping and deployment using SAP Rapid Deployment Solutions in your functional or technical area of expertise
·  Perception and navigation beyond key functional area with understanding of integration between different SAP modules.

General COE tasks

·  Onsite and Remote customer service and implementation project delivery.
·  Delivery of Engineering services (Integration Validation, Rapid Prototyping, Zero Modification, Transition to HANA) to ensure customer value realization
·  Delivery of Assessment and Optimization services and supporting critical Escalations primarily in the Americas region (US and Latin America)
·  BackOffice support for critical issue resolution in your functional or technical area of expertise
·  Act as Liaison for critical customers, accepting responsibility for effective and proactive solution or system management and issue resolution

WORK EXPERIENCE

·  Mobility : Supporting our customers in taking their business mobile using SAP's Mobile Platform and other skills such as UI5, JavaScript, CSS, iOS and Android
·  Big Data : With SAP's in-memory platform, SAP HANA, you can help our customers turn the challenges of Big Data into opportunities in real-time using such skills as Data Modelling, Installation/Configuration, SQL/Python scripting
·  Programming : Supporting our customers business processes through code optimization and development in ABAP, C++, JAVA, iOS, HTML5 and Python

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATION / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

·  Graduated with an Honours Degree in IT/ Computer Science/ Physics/Mathematics/Engineering or related discipline
·  Excellent customer focus, teamwork and communication skills (oral/written)

Fluent in written and spoken English
