As an Intermediate Hybrid Application Engineer, you'll be a member of Go to Market Solutions' (GTMS) Assortment Visualization team. You will be part of an agile team that is developing functionality for a new application used cross functionally by Merchandising, Nike Direct, and Sales. The Assortment Visualization team is responsible for building an enterprise cross-functional capability enabling Merchants the ability to create and illustrate assortments and Nike Direct and Sales the ability to adapt the Merch directed assortments to the marketplace. In this position you will:
• Research, prototype, design and develop solutions for prioritized end user requirements
• Partner closely with BSAs, Developers, QA and test automation engineers to deliver a premium user experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate & collaborate with both business and technical teams
• A track record of solving problems and getting things done in a fast pace, ever evolving environment
• Experience estimating work effort for complex agile software projects
• Experience working in an Agile development environment
• 1-2 years of experience working with AJAX-based web applications
• Expertise with Java (J2SE/J2EE) application development
• Expertise with RESTful web services, both consumption as well as creation
• Expertise greatly desired in Spring MVC, Aspect Oriented Programming or similar frameworks like Tapestry, or Guice
• Expertise writing elegant, cross-browser HTML / CSS/ JavaScript es6+ / React JS / Node JS with an attention to detail, scalability, performance, and maintainability
• Experience greatly desired in : SASS, HTML5 Canvas, Nightwatch, Jasmine or Mocha testing frameworks, Relational Databases, AWS
• Experience using the latest debugging development tools
• Experience writing unit tests in java script using modern testing tools
• Expertise in and a desire to grow in any of the following areas is a strong plus: MongoDB, Socket.io, Docker, , Azure, Chef, Ruby, Continuous Delivery
