Footwear Material Planning Analyst

Job description

Develop and implement Global Material Supply Plans for NIKE Footwear's Constrained Technologies utilizing supply planning processes, systems, and tools. Incorporate professional material supply planning techniques which drive high levels of planning accuracy thereby enabling inventory reduction, improved resource utilization, product cost savings, and delivery precision across the planning horizon. Manage the strategic, seasonal, and monthly material supplier load review process that incorporates input from WHQ Material development, Material sourcing, and Global Footwear Planning to create consensus material capacity plans. Support the advancement of Global Demand, Source, and Supply processes to improve the precision with which Nike forecasts and supplies product demand.

Create, revise, and communicate Global Material Supply Plans for NIKE Footwear's Constrained Technologies to ensure NIKE's strategic objectives are met. Use analysis and data-driven decision making tools for the creation of balanced and executable seasonal material supply plans.

Qualifications :

Requirements for this position:
• Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field
• 2 years' relevant work experience, preferably in a supply chain planning role
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient with MS Excel and Tableau at an intermediate level
• Ability to work in deadline driven environment
• Strong problem solving and decision making skills
• Strong attention to detail and process orientation
• Preferred skills: material planning/forecasting, process documentation, and on-time performance tracking
• Interest/experience in Footwear
