Business Development Manager (West Singapore)

Job description

To maintain relationship with current allocated customer accounts and work with other team members to expand Kuehne + Nagel customer base, in order to ensure the budgeted revenue is maintained as a minimum, while focusing on increasing volume and gross profit to agreed annual targets. The Business Development Manager will be allocated to a majority focus on Seafreight; however, the position will not be restricted from providing a full service offering to any customer.

Your main responsibilities

·  To proactively manage and develop relationships with your allocated portfolio of customers.
·  To actively identify and pursue new sales opportunities within allocated portfolio (prospects and current customers)
·  To develop and implement strategies and tactics to increase revenue flows from the allocated portfolio.
·  To maintain the integrity of data in CoreLog (sales reporting system) through regular maintenance and training.
·  To meet and preferably, exceed annual revenue and sales targets.
·  To participate in business implementation and setting up of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
·  To ensure that the personal knowledge of all relevant K + N products and/services is up to date at all times.
Your skills and experience

·  Minimum 3 years' relevant working experience in Air and Sea industry
·  Proven business development experience
·  Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications
·  High degree of communication and presentation skills
