Kuehne + Nagel provides a production support service package and through life support for Leonardo Helicopters that consists of all standard logistics activities such as goods receipt, quality inspection, storage and picking & packing. In addition, centres co-located with the end user ensure store to fitment service.

Due to continued growth within the Leonardo MW Helicopters contract we have a vacancy for a Administration Assistant based at the Houndstone Spares Support, Yeovil. Reporting to the Administration Manager you will be responsible for processing of deliveries and associated workloads:

Your tasks and responsibilities

• Ensuring all work meets with customers' specifications, the production plan and the required quality standard
• Ensuring, that at all times, the Company's Health & Safety procedures are adhered to, in particular, the use of machinery and protective devices
• Paperwork procedures
• Participate and actively pursue good communications between the team and other departments
• To carry out any additional tasks as agreed with the operational managers
• Effectively manage the day to day administration duties of the office
• Process orders onto our suppliers, chase orders, liaise directly with the customer and deal with any problems or enquiries.
• Answer the telephone in a professional well-mannered method

Specific in-house training will be given in regards to:
• Purchasing
• Invoicing
• Cost management
• Quality conformance
• Track Pack IT Systems
• KNPS / SC21 Improvement

Your skills and experience
• Applicants should be flexible and willing to learn with a positive outlook toward the working environment
• Demonstrate a practical knowledge of computers
• Demonstrate good communication skills between team and management
• Possess excellent time management and prioritisation skills
• Good housekeeping skills
