Job description

Working at Kendal Care Home, part of the Abbey Health Care Group, you will be running the office in a state of the art purpose built care home. Working directly for the General Manager, you will be responsible for all aspects of administration involved in Care Home management.

You will need an excellent working knowledge of Excell, Word and knowledge of Sage is desirable. You will need to be capable of learning new software packages at a reasonable speed. The role is complex and multi-faceted, flexibility is essential as is the ability to think on your feet.

There is a lot of contact between the Office Manager, residents and their families, so a personable, kind, empathetic approach to communication is essential. A good telephone manner is essential.

You will work 40 hours a week, there is an element of flexi time within that.
