The Purchasing Strategy team’s mission is to plan and drive Jaguar Land Rover’s global growth and development, delivering strategic projects to help the company become a sustainably profitable global enterprise.  

 

As Strategy Analyst, you’ll support the GCL and Strategic Buyers to ensure analytics on suppliers, market and business requirements are available. You’ll be accountable for Data-driven SCD and CBP content, be responsible for GSP process facilitation including GSAD ownership; and timely GSAD submission as well as work with the Capacity Planning Team to ensure sufficient capacity data is available from suppliers.

 

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

As a Strategy Analyst, you’ll combine excellent analytical, interpersonal and communication skills, particularly in reporting and presentation. You’ll have the ability to build relationships and influence, as well as the ability to understand and explain complex information.

 

You’ll be a driven and self-motivated individual able to deliver against targets within challenging environments with minimum supervision. You’ll demonstrate commercial, financial and business acumen skills and have substantial project management experience. You’ll also build complex analytical models, identify market trends and link all that to internal strategic decision making. Finally, it would be advantageous if you have an understanding of current economic, technological and political factors and their relation to Jaguar Land Rover with a cultural awareness of global markets.
