In this role, your responsibilities will include, but to be limited to:

-Delivering full bootloader solution for Altera SoC FPGA ARM and soft processor NIOS II.

-Developing various drivers for processor, cache, security, hardware design, peripherals, flash controllers, SDRAM and many more.

-Enabling and supporting customer design win

-Involve in silicon pre-tape out validation and bring up

-Ensuring quality of bootloader deliverables by ensuring high test coverage

-Upstreaming of bootloader source to ensure the source is up to date.

Desired profile

Qualifications

-Familiar with embedded development environment such as git, Linux host.

-Understanding of Linux driver and application development.

-Able to troubleshoot various kernel issue with the help of gdb server or host based debugger

-Able to script with Perl, python

-Familiarize with build script and infrastructure.

- Understanding of Angstrom and Yocto build system would be a plus.

-Familiarization with PCIe, Ethernet, Display port will be a plus

-Understanding of AMP and SMP system, virtualization would be a plus

-Experience on open source upstreaming would be a plus
