TRIRIGA Application Developer
United Kingdom IT development
Job description
IBM TRIRIGA is an Integrated Workplace Management System (IWMS - as labelled by Gartner) which enables large, international organisations to manage all aspects of their operations, budgets and spend across all of their property portfolio and land. TRIRIGA is one of the key components of IBM's Internet of Things (IoT) suite of offerings. It is ranked by Gartner in the upper quartile and has an impressive set of blue-chip international clients. It is the only truly integrated workplace management solution, with all key components based upon a single underlying platform. The UK TRIRIGA organisation was borne out of the IBM acquisition of TRIRIGA 5 years ago and now numbers some 36 trained consultants in the UK alone and over 80 across Europe. Our Application Developers play a key role in shaping TRIRIGA into a tailored solution for individual clients.
The key specialist areas are:
(1) Leasing & Land Management, (2) Space Management, (3) Capital Project Management, (4) Asset Maintenance and Operations (5) Energy, Utilities and Waste Management. The Application Developer role uses the package's development tool-set to configure the standard package to meet specific client needs.
A TRIRIGA Application Developer takes business-type specifications provided by an Application Consultant and translates those business-focussed, high-level designs into a low-level technical design such that TRIRIGA screens, fields, objects, workflows etc are altered to meet specific client needs. They then develop that design into the package, using TRIRIGA's own configuration tools.
The candidate must welcome working as part of a team in an environment where self-improvement is taken for granted. They must be comfortable working with clients to define and develop detailed technical designs . They should strive to deliver value to clients and be passionate about helping continuously to improve their and IBM's wider ability to deliver value.
· Work within a Services implementation team to use TRIRIGA's development toolkit to deliver property management solutions.
· Supporting Services Account teams to devise TRIRIGA-based solutions responding to proposals.
· Maintain links with the Software TRIRIGA product development team to keep current with product development plans.
· Support Services management teams to develop TRIRIGA-based offerings to support market-facing activities. The candidate should been keen to work in a project-related environment, where the projects are to define, sell and deliver IT solutions relating to the management of property and infrastructure assets. An interest in applying connectivity (IoT) and analytics/cognative technologies to the management of property estates would be of interest.
