In this exciting role, you will be the Nessus Administrator and Vulnerability Management Subject Manager Expert.
·  You will take the lead on technical security engineering initiatives related to the design, configuration, and set up of Nessus throughout the Client enterprise.
·  You will set up and maintain IP ranges, schedule scans, customize reports for end users, provision access rights, perform tuning and filtering, and perform Nessus application patching.
·  Will work closely with the Security Operations team members, Network Team, Server Team, Client ISSO, System Owner (SO), Information Assurance (IA) Teams to execute a holistic approach to vulnerability management.
·  Work will be performed out of the client's facilities in Arlington, VA and Washington DC.
·  Must display excellent teamwork skills, technical and business acumen, and formal documentation skills.
·  Job Duties:
- Cybersecurity Solution Design 50%
- Architecture Review and thought leadership -30%
- Security SME support 10%
- Security Tool Support – 10%

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

·  3+ years experience with the following:
·  Nessus Tool Administration
·  Experience performing updates and patching for Nessus
·  Experience with leading and executing vulnerabilty management processes
·  Experience with identifying false positives
·  Experience with process development, review, and redesign
·  Experience with enterprise security tool support and/or architecture
·  Experience in how to run a Patch and Vulnerability Management Program
·  Security Clearance of Active DoD Secret
