We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Assistant Manager, Credit Services .

Principal responsibilities
· Manages daily activities to safeguard the bank from potential losses, and provides efficient support to the Relationship Managers from various divisions.
· Process and ensure that all transactions or facilities are properly authorized and processed within set limits and all security documentations timely and properly done or completed.
· Assist the Line Manager in collating data and providing accurate management information statistics or reports on timely basis and other duties.
· Conducts checks, directs clerical staff on rectification and corrective action on deficiencies.
· Ensures that all required security and documentation are received or renewed promptly and are valid.
· Ensures that established compliance procedures and controls are maintained and adhered to.
· Constantly reviews and update procedures or workflow promptly to enable relief covers to perform the jobs.
· Ensures section maintains a high standard of customer service delivery and complies with all Service Level requirements by conducting investigations or gathers information so that timely responses to requests from customers and instructions are maintained.
· Reduce the number of complaints from customers and ensures no repeat occurrence of complaints of similar nature.
· Contributes towards the continuous improvement of the sections or department.
· Contributes towards the development and performance of staff or mentoring of junior staff.

Desired profile

Qualifications :

Requirements
·  At least a degree from a recognized university.
·  A few years of experience in operational departments, especially in credit operations.
·  Experience in managing a small team of staff and checking or controlling work output.
