NIGHT SHIFT position.
The Maintenance Team Manager employs leadership skills, technical skills, and manufacturing experience to increase associate productivity, maximize equipment functionality, and proactively manage the safe maintenance, repair or replacement of all production equipment and systems, to ensure maximum reliability and craftsmanship, while supporting Safety, Quality, Productivity goals and objectives of the Maintenance and Operations Departments.

· Lead a team of up to 30 maintenance technicians to support the needs of the facility by providing guidance, remove constraints, and inspire performance. Be a first point of contact for direct reports for timekeeping, policies, performance, scheduling, and other employment-related issues to provide clarification, instruction, or solutions. · Maintain awareness and proactively manage all factors contributing to KPI's such as but not limited to:
o Safety – Recordable and Lost Time Accidents
o Equipment breakdowns and downtime
o PM Completion percentage
o PM and Line Change Over time deltas
o Employee Development
o Cost – Labor & Parts
o Ratio of Preventative/Proactive Maintenance to Reactive Maintenance
· Responsible for performance management of all direct reports by providing appropriate feedback, recognition, coaching and mentoring to motivate team members to perform at optimal levels and continue to grow in their skills and abilities in all areas including technical skills.
· Facilitate daily activities to ensure team members effectively troubleshoot process upsets/ incidents, identify root cause, identify courses of action, decide optimal course of action and actively manage corrective measures and/or solution implementation.
· Partner with others in the organization to coordinate maintenance across departments to minimize production interruptions and downtime. Communicate across departments and shifts to establish priorities, schedules, and ways to prevent future equipment malfunctions. Provide a documented diagnosis, case history and corrective actions outcome for all incidents.
· Use various systems and tools (Microsoft Office, CMMS/MP2) to optimize performance, communicate status/expectations, and manage PM/hours/parts.
· Prepares reports, analyzes data, and makes recommendations for improving operations and solving maintenance-related problems. Initiates, implements, and manages the Maintenance program based on best practices.
· Identify and implement continuous improvement and cost savings opportunities through 5s, Lean manufacturing and TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) methodologies. Actively engages in and/ or leads TPM activity in the plant to include ensuring incidents reports (root cause analysis) are completed per procedure.
· Manage and participate in the MOC (management of change) process to include installation, customization &/or upgrading of equipment. Interface with equipment vendors to obtain drawings, order parts and implement equipment modifications. Obtain vendor information, coordinate the update of systems and documentation, and ensure training of personnel.
· Ensure team members follow all processes and procedures and adhere to Sun Products Corporation policies and practices related to safety, quality, hygiene, GMP's and environmental standards through day-to-day interaction, inspections, and training with direct reports.
· Conducts personnel-related functions including recruiting, work shift scheduling, and timekeeping functions.
· Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications :

·  B.S. degree in Manufacturing, Business or Engineering-related field strongly desired.
·  2-3 years in a manufacturing environment with responsibility for maintenance activities required.
·  Proven team building and team leadership experience, with measurable results, strong engagement, and successful development of team members into the next level of leaders.
·  Direct supervision experience including coaching, motivating, team building; performance evaluation, time & attendance, discipline; employment selection, retention, termination
·  Must be able to effectively communicate by using various tools and techniques: writing, reading, typing, presenting, and creating spreadsheets, and documents. Must be able to articulate instructions and expectations, coach and counsel, and lead change.
·  Must have strong computer literacy skills/ functional ability for process management, business performance reporting and communication (Microsoft Office, SAP).
·  Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills to influence, engage, negotiate and motivate. Must be able to articulate business priorities, expectations, provide clear direction, delegate responsibility, and objectively manage in all situations including plant emergency situations.
·  Strong technical problem solving to include troubleshooting activities relating to equipment failures, process issues, quality and/or environmental issues.
·  Must have operational knowledge of automated process and machinery.
·  Strong communication, presentation and coaching and counseling skills; able to provide overall vision and lead change by creating high performance work teams.
