IBL – Business Intelligence Commercial Analyst (Abbotsford)

• 12 month paid internship commencing in Jan 2018

In this role the successful candidate will assist the GSK marketing team by providing analytical support to prepare market models and commercial analysis. The candidate will also assist the Business Intelligence (BI) team with the data requirements for our BI systems.

Other responsibilities may include:

• Delivering analytical insight to business projects.
• Providing interpretation of results to solve business problems.
• Assisting with the decision process based on the analysis provided.
• Pro-actively identifying business issues which may benefit the company's performance through analytical insight.

What we are looking for in a candidate?

• You must be in your penultimate year of a Bachelors Degree in Business/ Economics/Commerce/Marketing degree with a strong interest in Data analysis
• Have studied subjects relating to maths, statistics and finance within degree.
• Intermediate Excel skills
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• High attention to detail, rigor and process
• Excellent project management, in order to manage and prioritise multiple ongoing projects
• Teamwork, ability to build and maintain relationships
