** The position can be filled at either our Ste-Foy, Quebec office or at our Mississauga, Ontario office **

Reporting to the Manager, HR Services Team, responsible to provide high quality, comprehensive HR Administrative and transactional support across all GSK Canada businesses.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide transactional HR support using Workday (HRIS) across all processes and business units in a service centre environment.
• Ensuring service levels and customer satisfaction is achieved.
• Support client groups with responses to direct queries being received via email, websubmit and phone
• Provision of advice and guidance as first line of contact for basic HR questions
• Administrative support to HR and shared services.
• Manage the quality of data and maintain records in HR systems to ensure data accuracy and that entries are updated for payroll and benefits
• Liaise with external and internal suppliers and agencies as appropriate to deliver HR transactional services
• Support continuous improvement activities to further simplify and standardize processes
• Responsible for HR Services standard reports
• Handling of SPII and PII in a confidential manner, while maintaining appropriate privacy, compliance and risk management guidelines
• HRIS processing of HR partner transaction- with significant payroll and benefit implications
• Assessing payroll and benefit interface system outputs
• Supporting HRM, LPOs, managers and employees with HR inquiries
• Responsible for processing and maintaining vendor invoices, cheque requisitions, overpayments linked to multiple HR vendors
• Manage employee leaves (STD, LTD, Maternity etc…) in the HRIS and with our 3rd party vendor
• Responsible for employee records & filing

Desired profile

Basic qualifications:
• Degree/Diploma in business, human resources or behavioural science OR equivalent experience
• HRIS experience required (Workday preferred)
• Experience working with HR Service Delivery & in an HR Call Centre environment
• Experience with HR Systems & Processes
• Ability to generate Data, Metrics & Analytics
• Advanced user with Microsoft Excel
• HR Governance & Risk Management

Preferred qualifications:
• Bilingualism (English / French) would be a definite asset.
• Experience delivering exceptional customer service
• Ability to accurately identify needs, investigate options and partner with HR to roll out business solutions
• Ability to communicate clearly both written and verbal
• Union experience an asset
• Working knowledge of Union terms and Provincial legislative requirements
