Role Summary/Purpose

The Manufacturing Assemble - 2nd shift performs the full range of assembly, test, and disassembly on SVI instrumentation.
Essential Responsibilities

In the role of SVI Manufacturing Assembler - 2nd shift you will:

·  Performs complex and standard assembly operations on various types of SVI instruments

·  Be responsible to fit, adjust, align, and complete assembly of electronics and machined components to build subassemblies or complete instrument and assure proper function

·  Work includes assembling, calibration, and rework of units returned for repair

·  Perform in-process and final test operations utilizing a variety of mechanical and electronic means and indicators to assure proper function before moving to next operation or finalizing overall fit and function to delivery to customer

·  Follow documented work instructions, verbal instructions, drawings, and train or assist less experienced assemblers

·  Gather and control instrument components inventory at point of use, maintain required paperwork and control systems, and pack finished units for shipment

·  Report unusual conditions to the supervisor or manufacturing engineer

·  Keep work area neat and clean and participate in clean up as requested

·  Perform other job duties as required
Qualifications/Requirements

·  High School Diploma / GED from an accredited school or institution

·  Minimum 1 year of experience on a production line or in a manufacturing environment

Eligibility Requirements:

·  Work overtime, weekends and holidays, as required

·  Work 2nd shift

·  Work in a constant pushing, pulling, lifting, stretching, bending and other physical activities

·  Be in the shop environment a minimum of 8 hours per day, primarily standing and sitting, as required

·  Lift objects weighing up to 50 lbs.

·  Be subjected to extreme heat for extended periods of time
