Position: Junior Transport Planner

As a Junior Transport Planner you will be responsible for ensuring that you complete the efficient & accurate execution of the transport planning & administration tasks to help ensure that the needs of the contract & customer are met.

Key Responsibilities in this role will include;

Provision of excellent customer service, dealing with customer queries/requests for POD's in a timely manner
Co-ordination & timely actioning of drivers expenses
Daily in put & weekly collation of the on time report
Collation of Driver debrief paperwork for input for on time time report, payroll etc.
Input of data into CFX
Input of data into Working Time Directive database
Checking & updating Fuel Ice on a weekly basis
Updating of KMS in a timely and accurate manner
Assists the transport customer service manager in the planning of the fleet as needed for support or cover
Assists the compliance manager as needed for support or cover
Accurately & timely maintain records of staff absence and holidays
Accurately input drivers hours in to payroll
Monitors and records drivers time and attendance
Liases with procurement card holder to order uniform ,stationary & other adhoc supplies
Dealing with adhoc driver enquiries
Prepare KPI's as required by the customer and site management
Ensure correct pallet quantities are in put in to the on time report for pallet control
Ensure any orders that are not delivered in full are communicated to the customer by email and logged on the refused goods spread sheet
Input radial load fill figures in to the load fill spread sheet daily
Keeps a clean & tidy workstation
Completes safety conversations & hazards & attends monthly H & S meetings
Any other operational requests that fall within the transport office day to day tasks
Provides out of office hours on call one week in three

0-5 year's administration experience
Transport Operations

Literacy & numeracy skills
