Poste et missions:
Based at our manufacturing facility in Plymouth, WI, the position is responsible for providing closing support, costing expertise, plant spending and variance analysis and accounting/controlling support to the Plant Controller for Plymouth WI & L’Anse MI.
This position will work closely with the plant manager and department managers to maintain proper spending controls, support the decision making process and to help drive business profitability through efficient use of company resources.
Assistance with other ad hoc analysis and special projects may be required.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES –
- Adhere to the Saint-Gobain principles of Conduct and Action.
- To support the Plant Controller/Ceilings finance team in month-end close activities
- Retrieve, sort & manage raw data from various Ceilings reporting and ERP software (mainly SAP). Organize the information in a presentable format for external viewers to easily comprehend.
- Track and analyze performance/cost trends
- Update/Maintain product standard costs, manufacturing Bill of Materials/Routings and set-up standard costing for new products.
- Routine interaction/communication with plant management, production, warehouse, marketing, controlling and various other key functional departments within the organization.
- Identify cost saving opportunities
- Thorough comprehension of the Saint-Gobain internal audit control framework and impact of the controls on the manufacturing operation and the plant in general.

- Agility and ability to successfully manage multiple simultaneous priorities and projects
KNOWLEDGE
- Graduated from a Business School or Equivalent with a Major in Finance, accounting or other relevant field.
- At least 12 months of work experience in Finance or related business field.
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
- Fundamental knowledge of financial statements, ratios and main concepts of GAAP / IFRS norms.
- Familiarity with analysis in a standard costing system
- Experience using Microsoft Windows software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Advanced level of proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables, vlookups, linking of multiple files and downloading of data from other systems.
- Aptitude for learning financial information systems required, experience with SAP is a plus.
- Ability to understand and question the integrity of data inputs.
- Industrial experience is a plus
