Talent Acquisition Sourcing Specialist

Position Description
The key focus for a Recruitment Sourcing Specialist is to execute sourcing strategies and plans with a focus on passive candidates, with the aim of achieving high quality, cost effective and timely hiring of talented resources. Reporting into the Talent Acquisition Leader, you will partner with the team to recommend, develop, and initiate best practice sourcing strategies while being an ambassador of CGI. Your future duties and responsibilities
• Recommend and implement the most effective sourcing strategy for strategic recruitment initiatives.
• Source qualified candidates for open requisitions within our client’s industries.
• Utilize a variety of recruiting strategies in alignment with branding and social media policies with a focus on directly sourced (passive) candidates.
• Provide an exceptional candidate experience and ensure that candidates are effectively pre-screened before inclusion into the recruitment process.
• Select and qualify candidates based upon skill, cultural, and motivational fit, utilizing behavioral based approach and screening criteria.
• Maintain timely and accurate information on all candidate interactions.
• Proactively pipeline talent and create pre-qualified candidate talent pools in line with the strategic growth plans.
• Maintain contact with existing talent pool candidates to obtain and capture current market intelligence. Required qualifications to be successful in this role
• Three to five years of sourcing and research experience with a focus on IT professionals in a high volume environment.
• Previous agency and corporate recruitment experience would be ideal.
• Demonstrated success in recruiting hard-to-find resources.
• Familiarity with using social media, Boolean searches, innovative resources and online tools for sourcing candidates.
• Proven ability to take initiative and look beyond current role openings to identify a pipeline of talent.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with internal/external clients.
• Familiarity with using NJOYN or a similar application tracking system.
• Exceptional experience with Social Media including but not limited to: LinkedIn, GlassDoor, Indeed, Twitter,
• Ability to prioritize job responsibilities and manage high volumes of information effectively. Build your career with us.
