Polchem (a local Indian company) was officially acquired by Ceva in 2016. This 25 years old company is specialized in feed additives and disinfectants.
Ceva is ranked 6th worldwide among animal health companies. Based in Libourne, France, Ceva is wishing to invest substantially in India in order to become one of the top leader in animal health. In addition to the feed additives portfolio developed by Polchem, Ceva aims to invest in the production site in order to reach European standards guidelines for the quality of products as it is its ambition to export globally its Indian portfolio. Currently the factory is ISO 9001:2015 and FAMI QS certified.
Poste et missions:
Mission of 2 X 12 months : 24 months
As Industrial Deputy Manager, you will be responsible to support and ensure manufacturing and industrial performance of biosecurity and feed additives products. The work will take place in our manufacturing site of Pune, liaising with Production, Quality, and Logistics departments.
Responsibilities
- Support manufacturing production teams to improve efficiency, production capacity and resolve issues
- Analyze existing operations, propose and carry-out cost justified improvements
- Optimize employee production and material efficiency through continuous improvement
- Ensure compliance with safety rules and regulations, and meet regulatory requirements
- Participate in the implementation of supply chain SOPs/ new process
- Assure effective customer service through timely delivery of products
- Coordinate with industrial and supply chain teams from corporate
Profil:
Bac +5
- Industrial engineer
Lean manufacturing experience (continuous improvement, 5S, Kaizen events…)

Fluent English
