With a love of technology and a strong interest in photography, Canon welcomes those with experience in electronic/mechanical engineering to train to be a Canon digital camera technician in Elstree, Hertfordshire. Naturally if you already have a background in digital camera repair then we are keen to speak to you too! You’ll service, repair and calibrate professional Canon Imaging products and will provide  excellent customer service to customers. You will also have the opportunity to attend events within the UK and overseas, to learn and provide technical support and give advice to customers

This role offers you the opportunity to diagnose, repair, adjust and check all parameters relating to Canon imaging products including professional DSLR bodies, lenses and accessories to required company standards using state of the art computer controlled test equipment. You will build on your electronics test and repair experience through technical training provided by Canon. You will maintain accurate repair documentation using Canon systems and processes.

You will answer and respond to telephone enquiries from customers, involving technical queries, calling customers to seek further information in relation to repairs or to offer advice to customers regarding the use of their products.

You will possess an electronic/mechanical engineering background with strong computer knowledge in MS Office and Windows based operating systems.

Canon will provide training, for those who have experience in electronic technician repair related work, to become a Canon accredited Digital Camera Technician.

If you already have the skills of  a Digital Camera Repair Technician, Canon will develop your skills to a more advanced level.

Salary - £24,614 - £25982  Plus the possibility of a monthly productivity bonus after the probation period
